Weddings and Private Events

Welcome! You have just dicovered one of Michigan's most versatile professional music duos. The Dearings supplement a concert career by playing/singing at weddings and private events throughout the metro Detroit area. They entertain at some of the areas finest facilities including: the Detroit Yacht Club, the Detroit Athletic Club, the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Henry Ford, and almost all of the areas fine country clubs.

Their wide range of traditional wedding music arranged for voice, flute and classical guitar is stacked with favorites. They will also perform any non-traditional wedding ceremony song with ample notice.

The Duo has a large classical music repertoire and specializes in music from Spain and South America, so any cocktail party will be enlivened. From the most upbeat music from Spain, Brazil and Argentina to the classics, the DCD's music enhances any atmosphere.

Weddings & Receptions

The DCD has performed (both singing and instrumentally) at many different ethnic and religious services throughout metro Detroit/Southern Michigan. We are willing to work with your wedding officiant to fit meaningful music into your ceremony.

Besides playing/singing live music for the wedding ceremony, the Dearings can provide live music for your cocktail hour. The Duo comes fully equipped with a sound system and can entertain in larger and smaller rooms.

The DCD also performs instrumental favorites at parties, banquets, and receptions. The DCD performs instrumentally and sings live classical music throughout metro Detroit, Michigan including Rochester Hills, Troy, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Novi, Northville, Farmington Hills, Livonia, Royal Oak, Ann Arbor, Grosse Pointe, Detroit,and Windsor for wedding entertainment (wedding ceremony music and wedding reception music) corporate parties, high profile occasions, and special events requiring music. We offer a unique mix of Voice and Classical Guitar, Flute and Classical Guitar and solo guitar covering a broad range of classical masterpieces with highlights on Spanish and Latin music.
