How clubs use the duo

Four formats, one ensemble

Member Concert Series

Three to six evenings a year, themed by season; subscription-style booking that locks the calendar at a single annual rate.

Holiday Programs

December and Valentine's Day evenings; voice + flute + guitar arrangements of carols, seasonal repertoire, and member favorites.

Summer Garden Series

Outdoor terrace performances during summer member events, with a backup-indoor plan written into the engagement agreement.

Board & Honoree Dinners

Member-only milestone evenings with custom-themed sets — anniversaries, capital campaigns, retirement honorees, board transitions.

The series format

A four-evening series, built for your member calendar.

Most clubs that engage the duo book a four-evening series — one each season — at a single annual rate that locks the calendar early. Members receive printed programs in advance. Each evening's repertoire is themed (Iberian, French Romantic, American Songbook, Holiday) and rotates across the year so the series does not repeat itself.

For clubs that prefer a lighter touch, single concerts, two-evening pairs, and holiday-only engagements remain available at the standard per-evening rate.

What's included

What you get when you book the series.

  • A signed annual agreement that protects the four dates against the duo's calendar.
  • Printed program materials, ready for the club's branding.
  • A live sound check the afternoon of each performance.
  • Sung program notes by the soprano introducing each piece — your members hear why each piece is being played.
  • Reserved table-side performance positioning if the room calls for it.
  • Backup-date language for weather (outdoor) or membership-emergency cancellations.
  • Single annual invoice, billed quarterly if preferred.
Common Questions

Booking questions, answered

How many members can the duo perform for without amplification?
Up to about 250 in a typical ballroom. Beyond that, a discreet two-microphone setup is recommended; the duo coordinates with the club's AV team.
How much rehearsal / setup time does the duo need on-site?
A forty-five-minute load-in and sound check before doors open. The duo travels in a single sedan and brings two flight cases plus instruments.
What is the standard fee per concert in a series?
$3,000 to $8,000 per evening, depending on length, customization, and date. Series rates discount the per-evening fee.
Can we choose the repertoire for each evening?
Yes. The duo proposes themes and members choose; or the club's program committee specifies, and the duo builds the set.
Are member concerts open to non-members or guests?
That decision belongs to the club. The duo is comfortable with member-only, member-and-guest, and ticketed-public formats.
Do you have references from current club programs?
References available on request after an introductory call. The duo respects the privacy of clubs that prefer not to be publicly listed.
Do you perform at outdoor terrace events in summer?
Yes, weather permitting and with a backup-indoor plan written into the engagement agreement.
